Since 1974 there has been a single unbroken link in my adult life – a potter’s wheel and with that, a love for creating hand painted art pieces.

Throughout these years I have drawn upon many personal experiences for the inspiration and dedication that I instill in my work. From standing atop snow topped peaks over 21,000 ft. in the Andes to holding steel head trout caught on a fly in British Columbia, from living in New England and the Mountain West to Southern California from Iron Man triathalons to snorkeling among the tropical fish and from winning overall world and national cross country skiing titles to the peaceful tending to my flower gardens…..

All these experiences combined with the years of knowledge in working with clay and glazes give me the opportunity to offer unique artwork that expresses my love of nature and the outdoors.

My artwork has been installed throughout the country and I have worked for over half my life in the ceramics field.

From individual accent tiles on kitchen back splashes or murals in swimming pools to sinks in bathrooms and bar counters, my hand painted artwork is a distinctive addition to any home.

EJ’s artwork has been featured in several magazines and has also been adorned on the cover of of a book.
